Counseling & Therapy

You are love and happiness, and I will help you remember that. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy with an educational focus. An eclectic approach is utilized; however, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, and Transpersonal Psychology are often leveraged to facilitate healing. In collaboration with my clients, I focus on supporting a path toward physical health, a peaceful mind, and actions that align with your True Self. Contemporary psychodynamic principles are utilized to help you address your concerns. I utilize life-coaching strategies to help you maximize your full potential while making your dreams a reality.

During this process, the aim is to help you understand your own development and awareness in a meaningful way that allows you to become “unstuck” from the concerns you have. More specifically, this depth-focused approach is aimed at helping you, as an individual, couple, or family, gain insight into both your past and present so that you are able to make clearer and healthier choices about your present and future.

One of the many benefits of talk therapy is the opportunity to face fearful thoughts and situations with someone who is caring, loving, and supportive. Together, we will bring new thoughts and positive perspectives to old memories. We will integrate positive feelings and thoughts into past experiences. Give yourself today what you did not allow yourself in the past. I will teach you how to relax, accept, and flow with life just as it is.

The more you understand how and why you think, feel, and act the way you do, the easier it becomes to make the important everyday choices you need to make in life, work, and relationships.

I offer motivational coaching using a therapeutic approach called motivational interviewing. Motivational interviewing (MI) is an evidence-based treatment that helps people become more motivated to make changes in their daily lives. It can also help people improve their ability to take action on their plans for change and pursue their goals. I ask questions about the reasons for wanting to make changes and how the client will work toward those changes. Motivational interviewing helps clients take a big goal and break it down into more manageable segments. It can also help someone strengthen their desire for change and enhance their confidence in taking action.

My therapeutic goal is to support you in finding your own light, guide you in bringing light to darkness, and prepare you to continue this process on your own. I will continuously remind you that you are whole, not broken. Together, we will tap into your inherent abundance, love, and happiness. Within you lies an all-encompassing, unwavering love. Together, we will surf the waves of life while cultivating a playful “Lila” mentality and perspective.
