Yoga Philosophy & Instruction (RYT)

I am a joyful and eager certified yoga instructor. I realize that I have been gifted with a blessed spiritual path; yoga is my tool to express and connect to happiness. I practice balance, harmony, and unity which leads me to peace and an excitement of life. I believe my dharma is to give back, teach, guide, help, and explore with others. My goal is to guide others on their journey to self-actualization, self-transformation, and maybe self-transcendence; or at the minimum just make their day a little brighter. I hope to help others find balance and unity with their “opposites”; to touch others spiritually and possibly assist them with their challenges of human journey. I realize that being a yoga teacher means that I am also forever a yoga student, and I understand that yoga is not something to master, rather, something that I will continue to learn and share as an impermanent journey.

I often integrate yoga philosophy, asana (yoga postures), vinyasa (yoga flow), pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation into my therapy. You are love and light. You are whole and perfect. Within you lies an all-encompassing, unwavering love. Together let’s go back to that childlike innocence and playfulness. Happiness is inherently yours, we will uncover the joy that you continue to fight for. Life can become the celebration it is intended to be. We fight for freedom because ultimately we know we are free.

Let it be, we are free.

An example of yoga mindfulness:

“Kimberly’s approach to yoga is extremely unique. I always thought yoga was stretching and doing poses with my body. Kimberly taught me that yoga poses are only a fraction of what yoga really means. I now know yoga is a way to achieve a healthy, happy, joyful, and peaceful life. Allow her to journey with you on your path of spirituality.”
